Rabbi David Debow, Director of
Overseas Program, infuses his classes
with relevance and creativity. He
served as teacher, Mashgiach Ruchani
and Principal of Fuchs Mizrachi high
school in Cleveland. Since making Aliya
three years ago, he has taught in Midreshet HaRovah,
Midreshet Lindenbaum, Michlelet Orot. Graduate of
Yeshivat Har Etzion and graduate of Yeshiva University

Amos Safrai, Dean of Emunah College,
is a Doctoral candidate at Bar Ilan
university and a Graduate of Yeshivat
Har Etzion. He served for many years as
the Head of the Department for Shlichut
to the Diaspora of the Jewish Agency
and maintains connections with various schools and
educational institutions throughout the world.

Mrs. Sema K. Reich, Dean of Students, Teacher of Machshava.
Has an MS in Educational Administration, Ferkauf Graduate School of Yeshiva University. She has been involved in Jewish Education with young adults for over 25 years in a variety of administrative and
teaching roles.

Mrs. Rivka Epstein Hattin, Music Instructor,
Studied music at Michlalah, Jerusalem College for Women and Columbia University. She has taught courses integrating the worlds of Tradition and Sound at Emunah V’Omanut and other Israeli institutions. Her original musical score set to the lyrics of “Esther and the Secrets in the Kings Court” enjoyed critical acclaim in Israel and the U.S.A.

Mrs. Yael Shimoni combines intense Torah and
art training. She continues
to attend Rabbi Aaron
Lichtenstein’s shiurim at Migdal
Oz where she studied while completing her
art degree at Betzalel Institute at Hebrew
University.
Torah Instructors
Rav Jonathan Bailey has Semicha from Yeshivat Hamivtar and from Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg. He also has a BA in English Literature from Yeshiva University. Rav Bailey teaches at Yeshivat Eretz HaTzvi and specializes in skill acquisition in reading Gemara and Tanach.
Rav Yisrael Cohn studied at Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh and has Semicha from Yeshivat Hamivtar. He has an MA in Jewish Law from University of London, and an MS in Clinical Sociology from University of North Texas. He is an ATID fellow.
Mrs. Yocheved Debow holds a BA in Psychology and Education, and an MA in Child Clinical and Educational Psychology. She is completing a doctorate in Education at Bar Ilan University where she is a presidential fellow. She studied Limmudei Kodesh at Michlalah, Jerusalem College for Women.
Rabbi Zvi Leshem studied at Yeshivat Hamivtar and was ordained by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. He holds a PhD in Jewish Philosophy from Bar-Ilan University and was a Jerusalem Fellow. He is the Rav of Congregation Shirat Shlomo in Efrat and served as Director of Overseas Programs at Nishmat. He currently teaches in several Midrashot and is a Research Fellow at Yeshivat Siach Yitzchak. Author of “Redemptions: Contemporary Chassidic Essays on the Parsha and the Festivals.”
Mrs. Chana Tannenbaum has a BA from Stern College, an MA in Jewish History from Bernard Revel Graduate School and is a Doctoral Candidate at the David J. Azrieli School of Education. She was the founding Dean and Director of Shaalvim for Women, Lecturer at Stern College and Bar Ilan University as well as at a variety of institutions and public forums.
Mrs. Miriam Tawil has an MS in Jewish Philosophy from Bernard Revel Graduate School and an MS from the David J. Azrieli School of Education. She is past chair of the Jewish Philosophy Department at Magen David HS and served as Executive Director of Barkai Yeshivah.
Mrs. Rachel Weinstein studied for six years at the SKA Bet Midrash for women of Yeshivat
Har Etzion (Migdal Oz). She is trained as a Yoetzet Halacha, Madrichat Kallot. She also designs and sells Judaica.
Dr. Yael Ziegler has a BA from Stern College and an MA and Phd in Tanach from Bar Ilan
University. Dr. Ziegler is a sought after lecturer who teaches at Matan, Michlelet Herzog and Midreshet Moriah. She combines tremendous breadth of knowledge, and unusual creativity in her shiurim.
Art Instructors
Mr. Yehoshua Halevi has an MA from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a photojournalist and an event, commercial and fine art photographer. His photographs have been featured in National Geographic publications.
Mrs. Leah Raab teaches drawing and painting. She has a BFA from the Betzalel Academy of Art and Design. Mrs. Raab has had numerous exhibitions throughout Israel and America.
Mr.Eli Schvadron teaches printing. He has a BFA from the Betzalel Academy of Art and Design and is a popular teacher of printing in many art schools across Israel.
Support Staff
Mrs. Rachelle Chazen, Administrative Assistant, is in her third year studying towards a BEd in Tanach & Jewish thought at Michlelet Herzog.
Tikva Fialkoff, Madricha, is an Olah Chadasha currently attending Hadassah’s School of Optometry after learning at Midreshet Tehilla for a year. She loves chocolate and kumzitz’s on the beach.
Rivi Frankel, Madricha, is pursuing a BA in psychology. She has worked with teens in various mentor programs and aims to be a Child Life specialist after graduation. Rivi studied at Midreshet Tehilla for two years. Rivi loves the land of Eretz Yisrael and can be found hiking around Jerusalem with her guitar on her back ready for an adventure.
